Father John McEvoy blessing the four new Ushers

The Usher's Ministry welcomed four young  men into their ranks as they were commissioned following the Workshop by Columban Lay Missionary Marjorie Encoy. This ministry is responsible for welcoming worshippers and ensuring they have a sit among many other important roles and also are church wardens.

We thank these young men for saying Yes to this call and ask the Lord's blessing upon them as they endeavor on this new and exciting role. You can find more pictures in the Gallery.

Theme: “Libraries Transform”

This has been an annual event for all schools as in creating awareness on the importance of Books in Life.

In creating interest on children to have sense of reading thus will enable them to gain additional knowledge. The more knowledge students acquire, the better equipped they become to tackle some of the social ills that has plagued our societies nowadays.

Teachers organised programs during the week in alliance with the theme for the Library week this year. As for the week with St Pius X Pre-Schoolers they were dressed up in characters from story books on Friday the 10th of September, 2016.And it was an opportunity for parents and guardians and friends came together and celebrate with the children.
